Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct and Dress Code

Cave Creek Royalty Youth program has a Code of Conduct to promote a safe and respectful experience for everyone including youth, volunteers and parents. We also want to protect the Cave Creek Rodeo Days organization from safety and liability exposure.

CCR Youth & Royalty Parent Expectations:

• One sober parent
• Zero drug use
• No visible impairment
• No swearing
• Talk positively only, no gossiping or disrespecting others

CCR Youth & Royalty Parent Consequences:

• Any person who violates the CCR Youth code of conduct regarding alcohol/drugs may be subject to ejection from the event or other penalties.
• If you are found to be under the influence from alcohol or drugs you will need to arrange alternative transportation at your expense. If you fail to do so and leave with your child, the authorities will be called.
• The parent who violates the infraction or expectations will be given a warning, after 3 warnings you and your child will be removed from the organization and there will be no refund given.
• If CCR participating youth is brought by a friend or relative this policy applies to them as well.

CCR Youth & Royalty Parent Dress Code

If you are participating in the arena at the rodeo, you must adhere to PRCA dress code of jeans, long sleeve shirt tucked in, boots and cowboy hat. There are no exceptions.

If you’re attending other events, the dress code is more relaxed and depends on the event. If you are on a float, please adhere to PRCA dress code. We always want to represent the western lifestyle at events, so conservative western attire is appreciated. Please, no tank tops, sleeveless T-shirts or revealing tops. As parents you also represent the rodeo and should set an example for your children.

Code of Conduct and Dress Code for Princess and Wranglers

Expectations Princess and Wranglers:

• Respect your Youth leaders and listen to instructions
• Be in dress code during the entire event.
• Do not swear
• Do not talk negatively or gossip about teammates
• Be on-time for each event
• Use your manners, “please”, “thank you” “yes/no ma’am/sir”
• Show good sportsmanship, respect, and team work always
• Participate in 5 events not including CCR Parade/Mutton-Busting/Rodeo (1 night of rodeo required).

Consequences:

First infraction – verbal warning that is documented to parents

Second infraction – written warning from team chairs

Third Infraction – warning from the director and a meeting is required with team, parents and child to discuss issue.

Fourth infraction – the removal of your child from our program. No refund is given.

Dress Code for Princess and Wranglers

All participants are to have western jeans and a plain white western long sleeve shirt clean and free of stains and pressed. In hot months: white western short sleeve button up shirt clean and free of stains and pressed. In the summer months from Memorial Day to Labor Day a straw cowboy hat can be worn.

Princess Dress Code:

• Western jeans, clean and pressed
• Cowboy Boots
• Clean and pressed white western long sleeve shirt, short sleeve in summer months except when in an arena.
• Sash, clean and pressed
• Black cowboy hat with tierra, be sure tierra is clamped to fit so it doesn’t slide
• Western belt with Princess belt buckle
• Wild rag

Wrangler Dress Code:

• Western jeans, clean and pressed
• Clean and pressed white western long sleeve shirt, short sleeve in summer months except when in an arena.
